BASAPE RESERVA
Type: Red Reserva 13,7º.
Origin: Rioja Alta.
Variety: 100% Tempranillo.
Ageing: 36 months in barrel and at least 2 years in the bottle.
Characteristics: Dark, ruby red colour with brick tones, very aromatic, balanced and tasty. This is a classical Rioja Alta Reserva wine, which combines the vanilla of the wood with the fruitiness of the Tempranillo grapes, with an important total acidity that keeps the wine fresh and lively, enabling it to positively evolve in the bottle for a long time.
Gastronomy: Red meat, game, roast, semi-cured cheeses and prepared dishes.
Serving temperature: 17º.
VIÑA ASOMANTE 1998
Type: Red Gran Reserva 14º.
Origin: Rioja Alta (Fuenmayor-Navarrete).
Variety: 50% Tempranillo and 50% Mazuelo.
Ageing: 36 months in stainless steel deposits, 48 months in 5 years old barrels plus 18 months in new American oak barrels and shaped with a long stay in bottle.
Characteristics: This is a unique wine that only appears in those years when the Mazuelo grape ripens correctly, thus guaranteeing very high quality levels. Dark red cherry with brick-coloured sparkles, intense. Powerful and complex aroma of ripe fruit, toasted notes and vanilla. Ample palate with a perfect balance of acidity and tannins and a sensational aftertaste. Its powerful and balanced structure ensure great longevity.
Gastronomy: Red meat, game and poultry, pâté, foie, stews and very cured cheese.
Serving temperature: 16º-18º.

BASAPE CRIANZA
Type: Red Crianza 13,7º.
Origin: Rioja Alta.
Variety: 100% Tempranillo.
Ageing: 24 months in deposit, 24 months in barrel and at least 12 months in the bottle.
Characteristics: This is an old-style Rioja Crianza wine that has nothing to do with the modern marketing techniques that have created crianza wines that are more like young wines, which relieves wineries from the financial burden represented by keeping the wines for years before they are brought out onto the market. Intense red-cherry colour, aromatic, tasty, winy, with body and structure but with a mildness that only the passing of time can provide.
Gastronomy: All types of meats, casseroles and prepared dishes.
